Die semikubische Parabel wurde bekanntlich fast gleichzeitig von Neil und Heuraet rectifieirt. Die Note des Herrn Christensen enthält eine Darstellung und Vergleichung der Lösungen der zwei genannten Mathematiker, woraus erhellt, dass sie wesentlich übereinstimmten, obgleich die Methode von Heuraet anscheinend allgemeiner war. Zum Schluss werden auch die Lösungen von Wren und Fermat berücksichtigt.
