Der Verfasser macht die Thatsache bekannt, dass die Anwendung der Decimalbrüche, welche zum ersten Mal von Stevin in seiner Schrift La Disme 1585 entwickelt war, schon im Jahre 1602 dem dänischen Publikum bekannt gemacht würde, indem ein in diesem Jahre erschienenes Rechenbuch von Christoffer Dybvad, betitelt ``Decarithmia, ded er Thinde Regnskab'' in dänischer Sprache geschrieben, eine ausführliche Darstellung der Lehre von den Decimalbrüchen enthielt.
