Hardy's function \(Z(t)\) is defined by \[ Z(t):=\zeta(1/2+it)(\chi(1/2+it))^{-1/2} \] with \[ \chi(s):=\frac{\Gamma((1-s)/2)}{\Gamma(s/2)}\pi^{s-1/2}, \] where \(\zeta(s)\) is the Riemann zeta-function and \(\Gamma(s)\) is the gamma-function. It is real for real \(t\) and we also have \(|\zeta(1/2+it)|=|Z(t)|\). In this paper, assuming the Riemann hypothesis, upper and lower bounds for certain integrals over short intervals involving functions \(Z(t)\) and \(Z'(t)\) are obtained. Also, such bounds for the sum of \(\max_{\gamma \leq \tau_\gamma<\gamma^+}|\zeta(1/2+i\tau_\gamma)|^{2k}\) (\(k>1\), and \(\gamma,\gamma^+\) are ordinates of consecutive complex zeros of \(\zeta(s)\)) over short intervals are given. Note that \textit{M. B. Milinovich} [Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 43, No. 6, 1119--1129 (2011; Zbl 1300.11088)] studied upper bounds for the functions \(Z(t)\) and \(Z'(t)\) over long intervals.
