The paper deals with properties of eigenvalues of the second-order measure differential equation, which describes the spatial oscillation of strings with absolutely continuous distribution of masses. It is shown that the finitness of eigenvalues depends on measures. It is proved that weighted eigenvalues and corresponding eigenfunctions are strongly convergent when measures convergent in weak topology.
