The authors treat the Fréchet differentiability of \(C_0\)-semigroups and of integrated semigroups \(A(\varepsilon)\) on a Banach space with respect to multiparameter \(\varepsilon\in \mathbb{R}^m\), \(m>1\). Their results and proofs are mostly analogous to the classical case \(\varepsilon\in \mathbb{R}^1\). They treat both the case \(D(A(\varepsilon))= D\) and the ``variable'' domain case of \(D(A(\varepsilon))\). In the last case they replace the Kato similarity assumption \(A(\varepsilon)= Q(\varepsilon) A(\varepsilon_0) Q(\varepsilon)^{-1}\) by the mild assumption \(A(\varepsilon)= Q_1(\varepsilon) A(\varepsilon_0) Q_2(\varepsilon)\). All abstract results obtained are applied in detail to several concrete examples such as the transmission line equation, hyperbolic partial differential equations with parameter-depending boundary conditions and parabolic partial differential equations.
