Error of the Bubnov-Galerkin method with perturbations for symmetric spectral problems with nonlinear entrance of the parameter (Q1803137): Difference between revisions

The author gives error estimates of the Bubnov-Galerkin method for the eigenvalue problem of the form \(a(\lambda,u,v) = \lambda b(\lambda,u,v)\), where \(a(\lambda,u,v)\), \(b(\lambda,u,v)\) are symmetric bilinear forms of \(u\), \(v\) and satisfy special conditions as functions of the parameter \(\lambda\). The author concludes this paper with an application of the obtained results to the eigenvalue problem for partial differential equation.
