The concept of a physical relation was introduced in previous papers of the author. By a physical system he means a pair (A,G), where G is a set of physical relations on A. An equivalence \(\simeq\) is called a ph- congruence of (A,G) if for each \(R\in G\) and all physical sequences \((x_ i)\), \((y_ i)\), \(i\leq n\), with \(x_ i\simeq y_ i\), it holds \((x_ i)_{i\leq n}\in R\) iff \((y_ i)_{i\leq n}\in R\). A binary relation S is called a similarity of physical systems (A,G) and \((A',G')\) if it satisfies conditions given in the paper. The main result: If S is a closed similarity of (A,G) and \((A',G')\), then \(S\cdot S^{-1}\) and \(S^{-1}\cdot S\) are ph-congruences.
