The authors consider the symmetrical perfect set [\textit{C. Tricot jun.}, Math. Proc. Camb. Philos. Soc. 91, 57--74 (1982; Zbl 0483.28010)] and its Cantor measure which is a self-similar measure if the symmetrical perfect set is a self-similar Cantor set. They study a characterization of a Cantor measure on the symmetrical perfect set to be a quasi self-similar measure in the sense of \textit{T. C. O'Neil} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 211, No.1, 233--257 (1997; Zbl 0881.28004)] using some boundedness condition of contraction ratios. They extend the multifractal analysis for a quasi self-similar measure with respect to the Cantor measure on the symmetrical perfect set.
