The authors consider a mathematical model of the noise reduction problem in a chamber with piezo-ceramic pathes attached to a moving wall. The model couples two hyperbolic equations: a wave equation describing acoustic waves in the chamber and a Kirchhoff equation modeling vibrations of the elastic wall. The main result is a direct proof of the sharp regularity for the coupled system of two PDEs. The result can be used in optimal control problems, min-max game theory etc.
