The paper concerns a non-selfadjoint eigenvalue problem for \(n\)-th order ordinary differential operators with two-point boundary conditions. The case of not smooth coefficients of the differential expression is considered. The authors investigate the expansion of a function into a series of eigenfunctions and associated functions (in the case of multiple eigenvalues). The expansion theorem is obtained. The results concerning norm convergence, pointwise convergence and summability of Birkhoff series are proved.
