In contrast to certain \(C^*\)-algebras [\textit{E. Christensen} and \textit{A. M. Sinclair}, Pac. J. Math. 137, No. 1, 55-63 (1989; Zbl 0685.46044)], the vanishing result of higher cohomologies \(H^n(A, A^*)\) is no longer true for the algebras in the title, as provided by the algebra \(\ell_p\) for \(1< p\leq 3\).
