The aim of this short paper is to give an improvement of the Sion's minimax theorem in the framework of finite-dimensional spaces by introducing the notion of marginally upper semicontinuous/lower semicontinuous functions. Two examples of such functions are given. The proof is based upon some results involving lower semicontinuous multifunctions.
