    The author presents a new method of reduction of the first initial-boundary value problem for the gravity-inertia wave equation to an integral equation. In this method, allowance is made for the specific characteristics of the multiply connected domain. It is proved that the integral equation is uniquely solvable, and therefore, the solvalibility of the original initial-boundary value problem is proved. The uniqueness of the solutions is proved by the method of energy identities.
