Using a suitable transformation the author reduces the nonlinear oscillation system (1): \(\dot x=y\), \(\dot y=-f(x)\phi (y)-\psi (y)\eta (x)\) into the system (2): \(\dot x=hy-e(y)F(x)\), \(\dot y=-g(x)\). Since the trajectories of both systems have the same topological structure, he obtains some results on the existence of limit cycles for the system (2).
