Let \(M\) be a noncompact oriented connected manifold and let \(B\) be a compact manifold. Let \(\{\omega_p\}_{p\in B}\), and \(\{\tau_p\}_{p\in B}\) be commensurable smooth families of volume forms on \(M\) such that \(\int_M\omega_p=\int_M\tau_p\) for any \(p\in B\). The aim of this paper is to show that there is a smooth family of diffeomorphisms \(\{\varphi_p : M\longrightarrow M\}_{p\in B}\) such that \(\varphi^*_p\omega_p=\tau_p\) for all \(p\in B\). The proof is inductive and requires the introduction of certain topological combinatorial constructions and geometric-analytic constructions. This allows the authors to prove a filtration lemma for noncompact manifolds, from which this result easily follows. If \(B\) is a point, this result recovers a theorem of \textit{R. E. Greene} and \textit{K. Shiohama} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 255, 403--414 (1979; Zbl 0418.58002)], which itself extended a theorem of \textit{J. Moser} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 120, 286--294 (1965; Zbl 0141.19407)] for compact manifolds.
