Let \(\Omega\neq\emptyset\) be an open set in \(\mathbb{R}^ n\), \(p\in [1,\infty)\), and \(q\in [1,\infty)\). Then the set of all functions \(f\in L^ p(\Omega)\) satisfying \(\partial_ i f\in L^ q(\Omega')\) for all non-void open subsets \(\Omega'\subset\Omega\) and each \(i\leq n\) is of second category in \(L^ p(\Omega)\).
