    Let \[ F (\sigma + i t) = \sum \limits_{n=0}^{\infty} a_n e^{(\sigma + i t) } \lambda_n, \] where \(\Lambda = \{\lambda_n\}_{n=0}^{\infty}\) is an increasing to \(+ \infty\) sequence of nonnegative numbers, be an entire Dirichlet series. The author has studied the connection between the maximum modulus of \(F\) and its maximum term. Namely, he has obtained the necessary and sufficient condition on \(\Lambda\) that guarantees the validity of the following equality \[ M (\sigma, F) = o (\mu (\sigma + h (\sigma), F)), \quad \sigma \to + \infty, \] where \(M (\sigma, F) = \sup \{| F (\sigma + it)| : t \in \mathbb R\}\), \(\mu (\sigma, F) = \max \{| a_n| e^{\sigma \lambda_n}: n \geq 0\}\) and \(h\) is an arbitrary positive function on \( (- \infty, + \infty).\)
