Let \(N\) be a differential \(C^2\) manifold and \(M \subseteq N\) be the closure of a bounded open subset. It is considered the Lagrangian functional on \(M\) of the form \(f(\gamma ) = \int_0^1 {L(s,\gamma (s),\gamma'(s))ds} \). The main result of the article is presented in the following theorem about the existence of infinitely many periodic solutions: Let \(M\) be compact, 1-connected, non-contractible in itself, has locally Lipschitz boundary and \(L(s + 1,q,\nu ) = L(s,q,v)\) for all \((q,v) \in TN.\) Then there exists a sequence \((\gamma _h )\) of 1-periodic generalized solutions of the Lagrangian systems associated to \(L\) on \(M\) with \(\lim_h \int_0^1 {L(s,\gamma _h (s),\gamma'_h (s))ds} = + \infty \).
