Von \textit{H. Weyl} stammt der Satz, daß zwei isometrische Eiflächen kongruent oder symmetrisch sind (Vjschr. naturf. Ges. Zürich 61 (1916), 40-72; F. d. M. 46, 1115 (JFM 46.1115.*)). Verf. gibt eine Vereinfachung eines Teils des Beweises, den \textit{St. Cohn-Vossen} (Nachr. Ges. Wiss. Göttingen, math.-physik. Kl. 1927, 125-134; F. d. M. 53, 712 (JFM 53.0712.*)) für den Weylschen Satz angegeben hat.
