On the variational Dirichlet problem for degenerate elliptic operators (Q2455209): Difference between revisions

The authors deal with the variational Dirichlet problem for elliptic operators with power degeneration on the boundary of a bounded domain. Contrary to the previous studies the authors assume that the lower coefficients belong to the spaces \(L_q\) with a certain weight. To this end, they apply a method based on the theory of weighted function spaces, preliminary deriving embeddings of different metrics for the corresponding weighted spaces of differentiable functions of several variables. Moreover, the authors obtain norm estimates for the product of elements from these spaces.
