Let \(f\) be a nonconstant entire function. Set \(E(S,f)= \bigcup_{a\in S}\{z: f(z)- a= 0\}\), where \(S\) is a set of complex numbers, and a zero of multiplicity \(m\) is counted \(m\) times in the set \(E(S,f)\). If \(E(S,f)= E(S,f')\) for \(S= \{a,b,c\}\), here \(a\), \(b\) and \(c\) are distinct complex numbers, the authors prove that \(f= Ce^z\), or \(Ce^{-z}+{2\over 3}(a+ b+ c)((2a- b- c)(2b- c- a)(2c- a- b)= 0)\), or \(Ce^{{-1\pm i\sqrt{3}\over 2}z}+ {3\pm\sqrt{3}i\over 6} (a+ b+ c)(a^2+ b^2+ c^2- ab- bc- ca= 0)\).
