A bounded linear operator \(T\) on a complex Hilbert space \(H\) is said to be an \(m\)-isometry if \[ \sum_{k=0}^{m}(-1)^{m-k}\binom{m}{k}T^{*k}T^k=0, \] and is said to be \(N\)-supercyclic if there exists an \(N\)-dimensional subspace \(E\) such that the orbit \(\{T^nx:x\in E\), \(n\geq0\}\) is dense. For an \(m\)-isometry \(T\), the authors of the paper under review show, among other results, that the sequence \((\|T^nx\|)_{n\geq1}\) is eventually increasing for all \(x\), and that \(T\) is not \(N\)-supercyclic if the so-called associated covariance operator, \(\Delta_T:=\sum_{k=0}^{m-1}(-1)^{m-k-1}\binom{m-1}{k}T^{*k}T^k\), is injective.
