From the preface, written by the authors: ''This book is concerned about the V-invex functions and its applications in nonlinear vector optimization problems. ... As far as the authors are concerned this is the first book entirely concerned with V-invex functions and their applications.'' The aim of the authors is it to prove many well-known results in multiobjective (differentiable, fractional resp. nonsmooth) finite dimensional programming as well as in multiobjective control theory using this generalization of convexity. Investigated are both necessary and sufficient conditions for (Pareto) efficient solutions and Mond-Weir type duality results. Almost all of the references are more than 10 years old.
