If \(X\) is a topological space, then the relation \(X \to (Y)_2^1\) holds if for any partition \(X_0 \cup X_1 =X\), there exists a copy of \(Y\) contained in one of \(X_0\) or \(X_1\). The instances \(\beta\omega \to (Y)^1_2\) are considered. It is shown that if \(Y\) is a P-space of weight and cardinality \(\omega_1\), then \(\beta\omega \to (Y)^1_2\) is fulfilled: A space is called P-\textit{space} if any countable intersection of its open sets is open. It is discovered that there is a Dv-space \(Y\) which satisfies \(\beta\omega \to (Y)^1_2\) and another Dv-space \(Y_1\) which does not satisfy \(\beta\omega \to (Y_1)^1_2\). Here, a space is called a Dv-space if it is countable, regular and such that subsets without isolated point are open. The author declares that the key tool in the investigation is Frolik's theorem concerning fixed points of self-embeddings of compact extremally disconnected spaces. Some open questions are formulated at the end of the article.
