    Pour tout ensemble infini \(\Gamma\), soit \(\ell^f_2(\Gamma)\) le sous-espace de l'espace de Hilbert \(\ell_2(\Gamma)\) engendré par les vecteurs de la base orthonormée canonique. Soit \(\ell^f_2= \ell^f_2(\mathbb{N})\) et soit \(Q= [-1,1]^\omega\) le cube de Hilbert. En adaptant des méthodes de \textit{M. Bestvina} et \textit{J. Mogilski} [Mich. Math. J. 33, 291--313 (1986; Zbl 0629.54011)] au cas non séparable, les auteurs caractérisent topologiquement les variétés métrisables modelées sur l'un des espaces \(\ell_2(\Gamma)\times \ell^f_2\), \(\ell^f_2(\Gamma)\) et \(\ell^f_2(\Gamma)\times Q\).
