    This book is about the linear systems concerning impulsive inputs in finite-dimensional spaces. The material in this book is divided into two parts: I. Ordinary impulses; II. Impulses of higher order, realizability and fast control. The first part consists of five chapters (Chapters 2--6) and the second part is made up of six chapters (Chapters 7--12). Chapter 1 is an introduction of some motivations for investigating impulsive control problems. Chapter 2 addresses the open-loop impulse control problem for some linear systems, and it states that the construction of reachability sets for the related system is important in solving this type of control problem. Chapter 3 considers the closed loop impulse control problem for some linear systems, including Mayer-Bolza problem and a problem involving the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation, by means of dynamic programming approach, and it states that the Principle of optimality for the related value functions is important in solving such feedback control problem. Chapter 4 presents some generalizations of results in Chapter 3 to the impulse control systems subjected to uncertain input disturbances. Chapter 5 continues with some generalizations of previous results to the impulse control systems subjected to additional state constraints on the solutions. Chapter 6 is on the observation problem with bounded ordinary impulsive inputs. Part II (Chapters 7--12) is mainly an extension of the results in Part I to the impulse control systems concerning higher order impulses, or double constraints. I would like to recommend it to students and researchers interested in impulsive models.
