The article is concerned with Dirichlet boundary value problems for a one-dimensional nonlinear Laplacian. By standard shooting techniques the problem can be reduced to a real root finding problem. The authors propose an iteration for its numerical solution, using Euler's or the classical Runge-Kutta scheme for the numerical solution of the occuring initial value problems. They prove convergence of the method under a suitable assumption. Some numerical examples illustrate the results.
