In this paper using classical direct variational method and a recent extension of the well known Clark's Theorem (taken from [\textit{Z. Liu} and \textit{Z.-Q. Wang}, Ann. Inst. Henri Poincaré, Anal. Non Linéaire 32, No. 5, 1015--1037 (2015; Zbl 1333.58004)]). The authors study the existence and multiplicity of solutions for a \(2n^{\mathrm{th}}\)-order differential equation involving the \(p\)-Laplacian and subject to periodic boundary conditions. Regularity of solutions is studied according to the specific value of \(p.\) Some examples of particular cases end the paper.
