Jeder Station, deren Barometerstände untersucht werden sollen, wird eine Frequenz-Curve \[ y = y_0 \left(1+\frac xa \right)^p e^{-\gamma x} \] zugeordnet, wo \(x\) den Barometerstand, \(y\) die Häufigkeit desselben, \(y_0\), \(a\), \(p\), \(\gamma\) für jede Station geeignet zu wählende Constanten bedeuten. Zwischen den Barometerständen verschiedener Stationen werden Beziehungen aufgefunden, auf welche die Verf. eine sichere Wetterprognose gründen zu können hoffen.
