Let \(\psi\) be a Grössencharakter of a real quadratic field and \(f\) be a normalized weight two cusp form on \(\Gamma_0(N)\). For a cusp \({\mathfrak a}\) of \(\Gamma_0(N)\) let \(L_{\mathfrak a}^* (s,\psi)\) be a twist by the modular symbol \(\langle \;,f\rangle\) of the classical Hecke \(L\)-function \(L_{\mathfrak a}(s,\psi)\). The authors prove that the suitable normalized column vector \(L\)-function \(\Lambda^*(s,\psi)\) of \(L_{\mathfrak a}^*(s,\psi)\)'s has an analytic continuation to the complex plane and satisfies a suitable functional equation (Theorem 2). [See also the paper by the same authors with the same title in RIMS Kokyuroku 1173, 200-216 (2000; Zbl 0969.11513)].
