    A Fourier multiplier is a linear operator \(H_{\mu }\) whose action on a test function \(f\) on \(\mathbb{R}^{n}\) is defined by \[ H_{\mu }\left( x\right) =\frac{1}{\left( 2\pi \right) ^{n}}\int_{\mathbb{R}^{n}}\mu \left( \xi \right) \hat{f}\left( \xi \right) e^{i\xi \cdot x}, \] where \(\hat{f}\) is the Fourier transform of \(f.\) The function \( \mu \) is called the symbol or multiplier of \(H_{\mu }.\) In particular, unimodular Fourier multipliers are defined by symbols of the type \(\mu \left( \xi \right) =e^{iv\left( \xi \right) },\) for real valued functions \(v. \) In this paper, the authors study unimodular Fourier multipliers with symbol \( e^{it\left| \xi \right| ^{\alpha }}\) for \(t\in\mathbb{R}_{+}.\) Also \(\Delta =\Delta _{x}\) denotes the Laplacian and \(e^{it\left| \Delta \right| ^{\frac{\alpha }{2}}}\) is the multiplier operator with symbol \(e^{it\left| \xi \right| ^{\alpha }}\) see [Proc. Am. Math. Soc., 137, 3869--3883 (2009; Zbl 1183.42013)]. Throughout this paper, the authors use the notation \(A\preccurlyeq B\) to express that there is a positive constant \(C\) independent of all essential variables such that \(A\leq CB.\) In this paper, another tool is the modulation space \(M_{p,q}^{s}\left(\mathbb{R}^{n}\right) .\) This space was first introduced by \textit{H. G. Feichtinger} [Modulation spaces on locally compact abelian groups, Technical Report, University of Vienna, (1983)], [Sampl. Theory Signal Image Process. 5, No. 2, 109--140 (2006; Zbl 1156.43300)]. The main results of this paper are the following. Theorem 1. If \(\alpha =1,t>1\) and \(1\leq p,q\leq \infty ,\) we have \[ \left\| e^{it\left| \Delta \right| ^{\frac{\alpha }{2} }}f\right\| _{M_{p,q}^{s}\left(\mathbb{R}^{n}\right) }\preccurlyeq t^{n\left| \frac{1}{2}-\frac{1}{p}\right| }\left\| f\right\| _{M_{p,q}^{s}\left(\mathbb{R}^{n}\right) }. \] Theorem 2. Let \(s\in\mathbb{R},1\leq p,q\leq \infty .\) For \(\frac{1}{2}<\alpha \) but \(\alpha \neq 1,\) we have \[ \left\| e^{it\left| \Delta \right| ^{\frac{\alpha }{2} }}f\right\| _{M_{p,q}^{s}\left(\mathbb{R}^{n}\right) }\preccurlyeq \left\| f\right\| _{M_{p,q}^{s}\left(\mathbb{R}^{n}\right) }+t^{n\left| \frac{1}{2}-\frac{1}{p}\right| }\left\| f\right\| _{M_{p,q}^{s+\gamma \left( \alpha \right)}\left(\mathbb{R}^{n}\right) }, \] where \(\gamma \left( \alpha \right) =\left( \alpha -2\right) n\left| \frac{1}{2}-\frac{1}{p}\right| \).
