    Let A(p) denote the class of functions \[ f(z)=\sum^{\infty}_{n=p}a_ nz^ n,\quad a_ p\neq 0,\quad p\in N, \] which are regular in \(E=\{z:| z| <1\}\) and let S(p), C(p) denote the subclasses of A(p) of p-valently starlike and p-valently convex functions respectively. In this paper many properties of this classes are given. Other relation problems are also investigated. Among others it is proved: Theorem. Let \(f\in A(p)\) and suppose \[ p+Re(zf^{(p+1)}(z)/f^{(p)}(z))>0,\quad z\in E. \] Then f(z) is p- valent in E and \[ k+Re(zf^{(k+1)}(z)/f^{(k)}(z))>0,\quad z\in E \] for \(k=0,1,...,p-1\). In particular \(f\in C(p)\) and \(f\in S(p)\).
