The author deals with the approximation of a class of bivariate real-valued functions. She generalizes results obtained by \textit{D. Braess} [Constructive Approximation 17, No. 1, 147--151 (2001; Zbl 0974.41007)]. First, she defines the deviation of a real-valued polynomials to the approximated function by the standard approximation error. Next, applying the Bernstein's which links the approximation rate of a function in \(R\) to its holomorphic continuability, the desired generalization of the result from [loc. cit.] is obtained.
