    The authors deal with the existence of multiple solutions for the quasilinear elliptic system of gradient type \[ -\Delta_p u= \mu_1|u|^{p_*- 2}u+ f(x, u,v)\quad\text{in }\Omega, \] \[ -\Delta_q v= \mu_2|v|^{q_*- 2} v+ g(x,u,v)\quad\text{in }\Omega, \] \[ u= v= 0\quad\text{on }\partial\Omega, \] where \(\Omega\) is a bounded domain (smooth) in \(\mathbb{R}^N\), \(\mu_1\), \(\mu_2\) are real positive constants, \(\Delta_p u= \text{div}(|\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u)\), \(1< p\leq q< N\), \(p_*= {Np\over N-p}\), \(q_*- {Nq\over N-q}\) and \(f\), \(g\) satisfy natural assumptions. To this end, the authors use a version of the symmetric Mountain Pass Theorem.
