Verf. weist darauf hin, daß die Transformation einer Gleichung fünften Grades auf die \textit{Brioschi}sche Normalform (die die Glieder vierten und zweiten Grades nicht mehr enthält) unter Benutzung von höchstens zwei quadratischen Irrationalitäten an gewisse Bedingungen geknüpft ist, und behandelt ausführlich zwei Fälle, in denen eine solche Transformation möglich ist.
