Continuous time stochastic dynamics of an n-dimensional infinite lattice gas is investigated. The fluctuation field for rapidly decreasing smoothing function is shown to be asymptotically equivalent to that of the density of the gas under appropriate space-time renormalization. In the special case of particles, jump rates of a gradient type, the limit field is proved to be a Gaussian field which is an infinite-dimensional analogue of the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck field. The extension of the latter result to non-gradient jump rates is suggested but not proved.
