Steady two-dimensional creeping flows induced by line singularities in the presence of an infinitely long circular cylinder with stick-slip boundary conditions are modeled by the following boundary value problem written in polar coordinates \((r,\theta): \nabla ^{4}\psi =0\) in \(r>a\), \(\psi =0\) and \(\frac{\partial \psi }{\partial r}=\lambda r\frac{\partial }{\partial r}(\frac{1}{r}\frac{\partial \psi }{\partial r})\) on \(r=a\), where \(a\) is the radius of the cylinder, and \(\lambda \) is a given positive constant. Using Fourier series, the author solves this problem.
