The generalized Aomoto-Gel'fand hypergeometric function (defined as an integral of differential form on some topological cycle) is considered and a direct proof of the ``determinant theorem'' is given. Let \(n\) be an integer such that \(n\geq 3\), \(\lambda_ 1,\dots, \lambda_ n\) and \(\alpha_ 1,\dots, \alpha_ n\) be real numbers such that \(\lambda_ 1<\dots <\lambda_ n\) and \(\alpha_ j>0\) respectively. A singular integral of Jordan-Pochhammer type is defined by: \[ a_{ij}= \int_{\lambda_ i}^{\lambda_ i +1} \prod_{p=i+1}^ n (\lambda_ p- x)^{\lambda_ p-1} \prod_{p= i+1}^ n (\lambda_ p- x)^{\alpha_ p -1} x^{j-1} dx \qquad (1\leq i,j\leq n-1). \] Then, the exponential Kummer covering is introduced and \(a_{ij}\) is interpreted as the integral of a differential form on some complex manifold. The complex analytic correspondences between exponential Kummer coverings and exponential Fermat hypersurfaces are constructed. The ``determinant theorem'' is proven by computing the integral of some differential form on the exponential Fermat hypersurface. Relations between Aomoto-Gel'fand hypergeometric functions and Appell's hypergeometric functions are also established.
