Spectral methods for nonlinear parabolic systems (Q1903808): Difference between revisions

Nonlinear parabolic systems of partial differential equations are considered. Periodic boundary conditions are assumed for convenience. The method combines stiff extrapolation with fast spectral solvers for elliptic systems. Highly accurate methods such as spectral methods are described and implemented. The numerical results show that the proposed method solves even difficult problems including phase field models and mean curvature flows.
