    Let \(X\) be a Banach space over the field \({\mathbb K}\). The \(n\)-th linear polarization constant \(c_n (X)\) is defined by \(c_n (X)=\inf \{ M:\| f_1\| \ldots \| f_n\| \leq M\| f_1 \ldots f_n \|; f_1, \ldots ,f_n \in X' \}\), where \(\| f_1 \ldots f_n \| = \sup_{\|x\|\leq1} |f_1 (x)\ldots f_n (x)|\), the norm of the \(n\)-homogeneous polynomial \(P=f_1 \ldots f_n\), see \textit{C.~Benitez, Y.~Sarantopoulos} and \textit{A.~M.\ Tonge} [Math.\ Proc.\ Camb.\ Philos.\ Soc.\ 124, No.~3, 395--408 (1998; Zbl 0937.46044)]. It is known that \(c_n (X)\leq n^n\) and \(n^n\) is the best possible constant in the complex and real case. The author gives some new upper bounds of \(c_n (H)\), where \(H\) is an \(n\)-dimensional real Hilbert space.
