This is a book on foundational matters in philosophy. It heavily uses logical techniques and logical systems to discuss, compare, and evaluate approaches toward the most basic notions in ontology (in the traditional philosophical sense of this word). In the end the author favorizes a kind of conceptional realism which has a cognitive theory of predication as its core ingredient.
