On equilibria of non-compact generalized games (Q1260910): Difference between revisions

A fixed point theorem is first proved from which a theorem on the existence of maximal elements for \(L_ c\)-majorized correspondences defined on a noncompact set is obtained. Next, an equilibrium theorem for noncompact qualitative games with \(L_ c\)-majorized correspondences defined on a noncompact strategy set is proved and is applied to prove an equilibrium theorem for noncompact generalized games with \(L_ c\)- majorized correspondences defined on a noncompact strategy set. Our results generalize several previously published corresponding results.
