In this paper the authors have developed three fundamental theoretical flow models i.e. an Oseen type rectilinear flow, a potential flow, and an Oseen type viscous flow approximation for forced heat transfer to parabolic cylinders and paraboloids of revolution. It has been observed that heat flux from paraboloid of revolution is much larger than the parabolic cylinder specially for a small Peclet number.
