The textbook contains two parts: Part 1 is an introduction to celestial mechanics, and part II is devoted to the control of cosmic vehicles motion. Part I consists of four chapters (1--4): 1. Symplectic geometry and canonical transformations; 2. Some properties of Hamiltonian differential equations: integrability and stability; 3. Introduction to the \(N\)-body problem: cases \(N=2\) and \(N=3\); 4. Research of periodic trajectories. Part II consists of 5 chapters (5--9): 5. Control of the attitude of a rigid satellite; 6. Orbital transfers; 7. Pontryagin maximum principle; 8. Control of the atmospheric section; 9. Numerical methods and optimal control. The textbook is mainly addressed to graduate students, but also researches and engineers can find in this book an advanced introduction to current researches and recent results.
