The author continues his original research from the years 1968-1974. The paper contains four main and two basic sections. Isomorphisms of Rees matrix semigroups are considered. It is proven: Every permutational matrix over a group with zero has a permutational inverse. For the translation hulls of two Rees matrix semigroups represented by means of matrices, the author constructs all their isomorphisms again in matrix form. These are matrices of arbitrary size over a group with zero satisfying certain conditions on nonzero entries. In sections 5 and 6 are introduced the concepts of \(r\)-maximal completely \(0\)-simple semigroups and of column tight Rees matrix semigroups. Both concepts are studied in relation with the translational hull of a Rees matrix semigroup.
