A line bundle \(L\) on a variety is said to be \(k\)-jet ample if the canonical map \[ H^0(X,L)\to H^0(X,L\otimes \mathcal O_X/(\mathfrak m_{x_1}^{k_1}\otimes\dots\otimes \mathfrak m_{x_r}^{k_r})) \] is surjective for an arbitrary choice of distinct points \(x_1, \dots , x_r\) in \(X\) and non-negative integers \(k_1,\dots,k_r\) with \(\sum_{i=1}^rk_i=k+1\). In the paper under review, it is shown that for an ample line bundle \(L\) on a \(K3\) surface, the \(n\)-multiple \(nL\) is \(k\)-jet ample if \(n\geq \text{max} \{2k+1,k+2\}\). The authors reduce the surjectivity problem to the vanishing problem of a cohomology group. This vanishing is obtained by applying the Kawamata-Viehweg vanishing theorem. Here, the triviality of the canonical bundle makes the calculation easy.
