Rede des Vorsitzenden des Vereins für die Besserung des Unterrichts in der elementaren Mathematik. Die Ausführungen beziehen sich naturgemäß\ nur auf englische Verhältnisse, sind aber für die lebendige Gestaltung des mathematischen Unterrichts beherzigenswert und dienen zur Widerlegung mancher unberechtigten Aussprüche über die Mathematik und die Mathematiker.
