In this paper the author continues his study of the long-time behavior of nonnegative solutions for the degenerate parabolic equation \[ u_ t=(u^ m)_{xx} +\left( {\varepsilon \over n} \right) (u^ n)_ x \text{ in } 0<x<1,\;t>0, \] subject to the boundary conditions \(-(u^ m)_ x(0,t)=au^ p(0,t)\), \(u(1,t)=0\), \(t>0\). As in Part I (see the review above) he gives the bifurcation diagrams for the stationary solutions and some stability and instability results. In contrast with Part 1, now the flow through the boundary is in opposition to the effects of convection and, for instance, the proof of the existence of a finite blow-up time becomes harder.
