The articles of this volume will not be indexed individually. This book presents applications of some recently developed tools of robustness investigation in control theory to flight systems. These are the structured singular value, the gap metric, robust D-stability or are based on bifurcation or optimisation. They are presented in a first part. Then, some benchmark models are described (High Incidence Research Model, Robust Inverse Dynamic Estimation). Another part is devoted to modelling using Left Fractional Transformations. Finally some results are provided. The nomenclature and an index can be found at the end. This book will be of interest to engineers in the aerospace business and illustrates how some recent methods of control fuel the research effort for flight control systems.
