In this paper the authors extend to \(n\) dimensions the results obtained in the 1D study of the dynamics of solutions for a reaction diffusion equation modeling the impact of a climate shift on the dynamics of a biological species. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of traveling wave solutions are obtained. Their extinction or persistence is also discussed.
